Unlike the opening game of the Continental Cup, in which we pretty much battered the opposition, this game was very evenly matched. Whilst it felt very entertaining at the time, due to close marking by both sides there wasn’t much in the way of flowing football and the game was essentially a mid-field scrap for 90 minutes.

As such, I opted to cut the game down to nothing more than the second half of extra time & the penalty shoot out that followed.
