I doubt I’m the only UK gamer that thought Amazon’s Black Friday offering was a little disappointing. Whilst those in the US could save almost 50% on a range of gaming headsets, nothing came close on Amazon’s UK site.

Thankfully, it looks as though Cyber Monday will have much more to offer.

AVerMedia Game Capture HD: now under £100

The first deal to pop up offers a saving of £40 on the AVerMedia Game Capture HD. This is a High Definition Capture Card that can be used to record gameplay on a PS3, XBOX or Ninendo Wii.

I personally own an AVerMedia and don’t have a bad word to say about it. Personally, I went for this one over other capture cards as it has built in storage, meaning I don’t need to connect my PS3 to a laptop in order to record. This was a particularly important feature because my PS3 and computer sit at opposite ends of the house.
