Morning folks, I thought I would share this little tip with you.

The general idea is to save time whenever you go to pick up a weapon, which means you reduce the risk of being killed. It will be helpful for anyone who, like me, doesn’t run a secondary weapon (click here to view my class guide).

If you have played Call of Duty before then your instincts will tell you to switch weapons, thus bringing out the knife, before attempting to pick up a weapon from the ground. You would then press square (or ‘X’ on the XBOX) to replace the knife with whatever weapon is lying on the floor.

It turns out that you can pick up the free weapon and it will automatically replace your knife, meaning you can cut out the initial “switch”.
